American Hospital Dubai and RivExcel Promote Medical Tourism in Africa
A partnership between RivExcel and American Hospital Dubai has resulted in the opening of three new medical tourism offices in Nigeria. This expansion highlights the commitment of both organizations to improving global health outcomes and increasing accessibility to premium healthcare services.
American Hospital Dubai is the foremost private healthcare provider in the Middle East, having been created in 1996 to deliver world-class medical services to the community. All physicians at American Hospital are American Board-certified or equivalent, guaranteeing that patients receive the highest.
As part of their expansion strategy, the establishment of 30 offices in key regions in Eastern and Central Europe is crucial. This initiative aligns with the UAE's goal of becoming a leading hub for medical tourism worldwide.
To foster stronger connections with the local communities, the Representative Office in Lagos will serve as a central hub for distributing the renowned medical services of American Hospital Dubai. Through this partnership, a wider audience will gain access to cutting-edge medical knowledge and solutions, revolutionizing the healthcare industry.

The American Hospital also maintains seven dedicated clinics in Dubai Media City, Al Barsha, Al Khawaneej, Jumeirah, Mira, Dubai Hills, and Nad Al Sheba, bringing healthcare closer to the community.
The hospital has a 254-bed capacity, acute care, and general medical or surgical services. It features cutting-edge facilities and an experienced team of healthcare experts specializing in over 40 medical and surgical specialties to ensure comprehensive care.

The launch event witnessed the participation of notable figures such as Buti Al Mulla, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group; Sherif Beshara, the group chief executive officer of the Mohamed & Obaid AlMulla Group and American Hospital Dubai; Marwan AlMulla, the chief executive officer of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA)'s health regulation sector; Tonye Princewill, the executive chairman of RivExel; and Tayyibat Mohammed, the Nigerian Consul General in Dubai.
American Hospital is the first hospital in the Middle East to be awarded the JCI while its laboratory is the first in the private sector in the region to be accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The hospital is also the inaugural member of the prestigious Mayo Care Network. Further, American Hospital's cancer program was the first to offer comprehensive one-stop care in Dubai. The Life Support Training Centre at American Hospital Dubai is the first in a private hospital in the UAE to be an American Heart Association (AHA) International Training Center.
